DescriptionThis fantastic daily was published during the 1952 U.S. Presidential Campaign and was part of the storyline where Pogo ran for President. This storyline was one of the most famous in the history of the strip and became a national phenomena as Walt Kelly crossed the country promoting the campaign using the slogan "I Go Pogo".P.T. Bridgeport and Tammananny Tiger, along with Porky Pine and Albert Alligator appear in each panel and the jokes abound in this classic strip! Originally published in newspapers on July 3, 1952 and reprinted in the "I Go Pogo" and "Pogo for President" paperbacks as well as in the "Bona Fide Balderdash" collection. Social/Sharing |
