Description
It seems apt to be posting this January 12th 2016, the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Batman 66 TV series!

Jonathan Case was artist on several stories in the recently ended Batman '66 comic series.

I always thought that the Golden Age Jack kirby creation Crazy Quilt (Who started out as a bad guy for the Boy Commando's and then later on became one of the few villains Robin could call his own) would have been a natural for the TV shows slightly supersaturated take on Batman. The literally insane colours of his costume, the art obsessed crimes... but who could possibly play him. It was Jonathan who came up with so-obvious I could slap myself for not having thought of it. What real world artist was larger than life on a Gotham supervillains level than the one and only Salvador Dali.

Not sure if this is what he has planned for Robin, or else, given the cockamamie weapons that supervillains on the show had, that IS Robin in the painting, but I'm sure that Batman will be along to save him. Same Bat-Time, same Bat-Channel!
