Grendel #9 was the next time the Pander Brothers pencilled AND inked their own work (issue #7 was the first time).

This issue was excellent as it was a wordless story, with a mere 12 words used in the first and final panels combined.

The cop Dominic Brown beats up Brian Li Sung, boyfriend of Christine Spar (Grendel). So she stalks him throughout the issue, finally killing him.

I always liked this page for the used of graphics in the word balloon, as he orders a hamburger. Closeup provided.

"And as to the problem with Dominic Brown ... Eventually I killed him."
