Spawn The Impaler 2 pg 6 prelim

This piece was my re-entry into OA collecting in 2000 after a hiatus. Interesting piece, as there are 5.5" x 8" lines and signature photocopied onto an 8.5" x 11" piece of copy paper. The page is done in pencil by Mike Grell, with lots of notes to Rob Prior. My understanding of the process was the Prior blew up the layout, perhaps in photoshop, and then went over the art with photoshop paint effect or real paint. The end result printed page bears little resemblance to Grell's linework.
