Description

I now have the poster drawing, 5 of the 6 drawings done for publicity stills, and the title watercolor for the Good Housekeeping page based on the cartoon, Donald's Golf Game. Although I'm not a golfer, I've always thought that the publicity art for this cartoon was among the best that the Disney Studio ever produced -- of course, in 1938 the Disney artists were almost all at the peaks of the talent as the feature, Pinocchio, was in production following the huge success and revenue from Snow White. I've yet to collect all six drawings for the publicity stills of any Disney short, but maybe, someday, I'll be able to acquire the 6th publicity drawing for either Donald's Golf Game or The Flying Mouse, the other cartoon for which I have 5 out of 6 still drawings plus the poster drawings.
