Description
I am well aware that at different times; Anthony Castrillo's name has come up in heated discussions when it comes to the subject of artists and commissions. Anthony and I have bounced off each other in the past which is why I was nervous about dipping my toes back in to the water. He is a talented artist and in a very short space of time he completed 10 of 12 pieces for me. Then we stumbled on the last two. But he reached out after a long silence in an effort to make things right, so we are once again a work in progress. He is a good man. I have learnt from my own experience that some of the most gifted & creative folks struggle in other ways. I only wish him well.I am happy that he has played a part in my Infinite Timelines story

All that aside, this is a very cool piece. I have no idea that zip-a-tone still exsisted but I am very happy with how this turned out.A few other pieces by Anthony will surface in this story-line who seemed to tap into a "John Byrne-ish vibe "

Nemesis Kid is playing cat and mouse with Shrinking Violet with no idea that in Colossal Boy's eyes..Nemesis Kid is the mouse not the chasing cat.

Enjoy

Love this cover!!!!!!

Great concept and superb implementation by Anthony!

I would love to commission Anthony for a JSA piece, unfortunately his reputation precedes him. I am thrilled you have had an 80% satisfactory experience.

First off, I am happy to see you doing a tribute to a Marvel Adventures Avengers cover! I bought that whole series in digest form to give to my nephews and also ended up reading them all myself. Those were excellent comics and a great gateway drug to the world of super-heroes. Now then, the commission itself is just as great as the original cover, and this storyline works so perfectly for this concept. Love it!

Love this cover! I never saw the original , but what a cool concept and execution in the Byrne style is quite cool!

Fantastic cover! I know this is based on a more modern cover but what a classic image---love the perspective!
