Louis D. Gowing - Adventure pulp, July 10, 1925

Several years ago, I bought this Adventure cover on ebay. It's the cover to the July 10, 1925 issue, by artist Louis D. Gowing. It was extremely dirty, and I finally took it in last year to The Conservation Center to get it cleaned and prettied up. Having just gotten it back, I thought I'd post it today. Gowing was a student of Howard Pyle for a few weeks in October 1910. He doesn't appear to have been a prolific illustrator, and his career in the pulps may have been limited to this one cover.
