DescriptionGirl Comic Vol 5 Issue 44 Page 16Published 31 October 1956 Reused in Princess Tina April 19 1969 issue page 25 Again, nearly all of the panels seem to have had the dialogue reworked to some degree between the Girl, and the Princess Tina published versions. Gerry Haylock More vibrant colour Story by Chad Varah Tale of Mary Bird, daughter of the rector of Castle Eden, County Durham, born 1859. Sent to Persia 1891,.. the story continues. What disaster befell this piece?? My fault unfortunately. The postie left the art work parcel at my front door, instead of outside the fence. My 2 Staffies were on guard, and obviously thought that a present had been delivered to them,.. and gave the package a good chew. Luckily only one panel and some edges damaged, and still worthwhile having in my gallery. Social/Sharing |
