Big Barda by Ramon Perez

Last year at C2E2 I got a few pieces from Essential Sequential and noticed Ramon drawing after all my money was gone. He was drawing a sketch cover with Firestorm (it's on CAF, look it up:) holding a nuclear reaction in his hands. Wonderful composition and opened my eyes to Ramon's work. Looked up Hawkeye and found Ramon's work online. I saw that he did a pitch to DC for a Mr. Miracle and Big Barda series for the new 52. I'm a sucker for Barda and really liked the fun nature of the pieces I saw and this year I wanted a Barda. Jason came over when this was being done and said," You're doing 2 figures on this?" To which I interjected, "He's doing 3." ;) Ramon did FAR more than he needed to and I left with much, much more than paid for. Wonderful guys all around at Essential, thank you for a fun time and spectacular art. Personal thanks to Ramon. Had a wonderful time watching you draw and talking to you.
