DescriptionMove aside '96' Bulls. There's a new posse in town. A record they thought would never be broken. What a team! Here's to the future.Social/Sharing |

A record that I did not expect to see broken, but like the undefeated New England Patriots, if they don't win the title, it is meaningless

The Pats had to win the title just to TIE the Dolphins. But the Warriors have SET a new record. It's in the books. That's not meaningless. Only two teams have even HIT 70. That's saying a lot for both the Bulls and the Warriors.

Here's to hoping my Rockets sweep them now in the 1st round. ;) 73 wins is still a great feat, though.

The Rockets are a scarier team than a lot of people give them credit for. Definitely not a soft 8th seed. If Harden goes nuts (and if Howard actually decides to wake up and play) they could give the Dubs a run for their money. Good luck Will, hope it's a great series!

Hopefully it won't be too one-sided (in the Rockets favor, of course). :)

The Bulls could've taken them. Of course, their coach would be opposing them in the back court.... Congrats!!

Congrats!!I try to avoid these comparisons because the conversation would be both pointless and endless. At full strength, either team could take the other. The Bulls were bigger so they'd get the edge in rebounding and maybe defense. But when the Warriors go small, there aren't many teams (past or present) that could keep up with them. Comes down to two guys. One who can dunk from the free throw line and one who can shoot from half court. I'll take the pure shooter.

But, (way OT here) the rules today would kill the Bulls. The game isn't as physical. See you at SD and we can really have this out!! :-)

Been a fan of this team since 2011. I never thought Curry would make it through NBA seasons without being broken in half but he and your squad definitely benefit greatly from the no hand check, no touch, no breathe rules implemented by the league.. and Eric..... you didn't really pick Curry over Jordan did you!?!?!?! I'm rather confident that MJ would average 50 a game in today's league, look bored doing it(remember his classic three point shrug?) and Curry would still have no chance against MJ defensively on either side of the court.

Curry shrugs them off on a nightly basis. As far as going with Steph over MJ, in a close game, I think so, yeah. When there's two seconds left and you're on the far side of half court, I know who I want to take that shot. Unless of course MJ can dunk it from half court. But again, two different players, two different teams, two different eras. A fun, but pointless, argument.
