WONDER WOMAN #7 3D shadowbox paper sculpture 1987

This was a 3D shadowbox paper sculpture I made back in 1987 of the WONDER WOMAN #7 cover by George Perez 1987. These photos were taken in 2014 while I was replacing the glass in the frame from regular to non-glare. The 3D work has stood the test of time. No color fading restoration was needed.

Given all the excessive detail and MC Escher type building George put into the art, it was a real challenge taking over 60 hours. I also used original covers which at the time was no big deal. After restoration in 2015, this was shown again to George Perez at a convention in SoCal.
