Description

I always wanted to own a piece of Jaime Hernandez and when opportunity knocked at my door, I took it.
Jaime is one of my all time favourite artists, so I just had to buy it.

Howver I have little clue where the piece originates from. I assume it is a calendar piece from early 90s?
I know it has been published as it show on lambiek.net as work from Jaime.
IF ANYBODY KNOWS MORE WHERE IT HAS BEEN PUBLISHED; ANY HELP IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

This is from the LOVE & ROCKETS 1990 CALENDAR for the month of May, which means the art was drawn in 1989. I have a copy of the calendar and checked at your request for more information.

This calendar features 13 never-before-published full-page LOVE & ROCKETS illustrations by Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez. It also includes over 60 small character sketches, and an eclectic selection of dates to remember. Softcover (Saddle-Stitched/Stapled), 12-in. x 8 1/2-in., 24 pages, B&W. Cover price was $9.95.

Lovely. Great example of Jaime's work.

In addition to the calendar, this was also published in the Complete Love and Rockets Vol. 15: Satyricon (1997) by Fantagraphics.
