DescriptionThis piece can now join its partner, Guardians of Gotham. Both were created by Dick Sprang in 1995 as very limited edition posters and they are both poster sized. I have been looking for this piece for about 17 years. Finally, I found it and was lucky enough to get it. In person it is as amazing as you would think. Years of Batman history are present in this piece and masterfully created by the one of the definitive Batman artists, Dick Sprang. He included wonderful little nods to Bill Finger, Commissioner Gordon and Barbara Gordon and other little bits here and there strewn throughout the piece. Part of the fun is finding them. Needless to say, I am extremely happy. Please enjoy this magnificent piece.Social/Sharing |

Your two Sprang Batman litho pieces are amazing Jared. Glad you could reunite them both together. No one else draws Batman quite the way Sprang did. Congrats!

Dude! At what crossroads did you sell your soul to get both of these?! Huge congrats! Fantastic, this piece could be enjoyed for hours, just staring at it, absorbing the details. :)

This is so cool! I can lose myself in all the details--Multiple umbrellas for the Penguin, giant busts of the Joker and Two-Face, the dinosaur peeking around the corner as if looking for a snack...Just fabulous!

This is the other reason to visit your gallery. Sick Sprang truly captured the essence of the Batman stories. This is a masterpiece.
