Bisley - Wolf Huntress

An Arctic Amazon with her wolf companion scavenging the frozen tundra for their next meal. As with Killer Girl, Simon shows his mastery of multiple layered media yet again! This piece is a combination of watercolors, acrylics, spray paint, pencils, and pens. A true masterpiece!

I first saw this piece in it's prelim form being offered up on ebay by a friend of the Biz, who coincidentally sold me Killer Girl some years before. Anyhow, I was very tempted by the prelim, but decided not to pursue her for personal reasons at the time. Several months later, this fully painted final made it's way to ebay, and again temptation presented itself. But the piece had a reserve on it, and I quickly realized the reserve was beyond the reach of my wallet. So, I put my mind off it, and thought it had sold to some other buyer. Anyhow, several months later, it popped up on ebay again, being sold by the same guy. I realized it must not have sold during her first offering and this time there was no reserve! So, I entered the fray, and wallah! She is now mine! :) Gotta love a happy ending! ;)
