"Father's Day" by Ryan Pancoast

When I saw Ryan post this heartwarming piece on his instagram I immediately loved it. The following day he posted the piece again this time framed and said it was going to be for sale of the site everydayoriginal for Father's Day. I immediately knew I had to try to purchase the piece if it was in my price range. Most of the pieces he sales on everydayoriginal are oil paintings and they always start at $400 so I wasn't sure what he sold his ink illustrations for. When I saw the piece was $100 I couldn't purchase it fast enough.

I love everything about the piece. It really resonated with me when I first saw it. You have this heartwarming depiction of a Bison and his son ready to go on an adventure. When I look at the piece I can't help but think back on my childhood. Growing up my family took most of our vacations to the state parks of Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. On these trips we would always going hiking and just enjoy the world around us. To me this piece is my father making those memories with me and my siblings. I am thrilled to have this amazing piece in my collection.
