Description**Double Spidey Posts, Week 22**THE SECOND MASTER” PART THREE OF THREE • What has Roxxon’s greed brought down upon Houston? Mammon has been unleashed, and Scarlet Spider and the Rangers have no hope of stopping it. This week I have two more excellent Scarlet Spider covers by the great Ryan Stegman. I had the opportunity to meet Ryan at the Miami Supercon a few years back, and he is a super friendly guy. I was happy to be able to tell him what I huge fan I am. This cover features Scarlet Spider swinging along with the Rangers close behind. The Rangers (Firebird, Phantom Rider, Red Wolf ,Shooting Star & Texas Twister) first appeared in 1981 in Incredible Hulk #265. Social/Sharing |

Sweet! I almost picked this picked this up way back when. One of Ryan's better earlier covers IMHO. Love the way the energy radiates out from the center due to the layout, lighting, and that cool splatter effect. Congrats on another great pick up, Paul!

Like your comment points out, and K's comment before you, this piece is crackling with energy, which is why I kept coming back to it and ended up pulling the trigger.

Kaaaaaablooooooey!!! The textures on this piece are mind-blowing!!! The layouts and inking are so impressive, I'd have to state this piece as my favorite example of Stegman's work. I haven't seen a piece that exemplifies his talents and creativity the way this cover does. I love the depth the cover has too. Spidey swinging right outta the frame in a powerful articulation.
