Batman by Marshall Rogers

A very nice vintage (1986) Batman full body sketch by Marshall Rogers, one of the definitive Bat artists in my opinion and a splendid storyteller to say the very least.

Not an easy feat considering he probably had the shortest run on the character.

This is also a nice change from the Batman hiding in the shadows of his cape sketches Rogers usually drew at the end of his career (and life sadly).

As much as I would love to own a Rogers Batman page, this one will have to do for now 

Love the overall mood of this one, the moon and fog and of course the trademark Rogers cape, the one that inspired McFarlane and so many other artists.
