The New Adventures of Nova #17 (Imaginary Cover) by Joe Singleton

Who is Gator Jake?Direct from the bayou of Louisiana he's the newest crime boss to hit NYC and he's doing it in force!! His first step,to take over all the waterfront in New York. With his gang "The Crawdads" he may very well achieve his goal. The only thing standing in his way is Nova, and he may have met his match with this 7 foot walking/talking alligator!

This issues cover was another fine piece of work by my go-to Nova artist Joe Singleton! Joe also helped me create and develop Jake along with some nifty images he put together that can be seen below.Joe also did the corner box Nova that I used here. My thanks to him for some nice pencils/inks here also. He will return next month. Gator Jake is my first creator owned villain in my series, he will be getting a lot of action along with an origin story.

I generally don't use homage covers, but this one just seemed to fit. A "No-Prize" to whomever can guess which one we used.
