Jupiter's Legacy Issue5 Pg6

Earlier this year I made it out to Scotland and got to hangout with Frank Quitely at his studio. This is one of the pieces I picked up from him...a favorite from Jupiter's Legacy. Overall....I loved the scale of the giant girl in this scene. It's visually interesting...the juxtaposition of big and small. And storytelling wise ...the bad guy (The Wolf) looks all the more badass as he nonchalantly takes down a character of this size/scale. My favorite bit is in the last panel ...her flats peaking out between the buildings...its a wonderful character detail...plus it clearly shows off her size ...stretching over a city block. The sense of space ...the detail...and storytelling are all typical master class precision from Quitely. I'm happy to add a page from my favorite issue of Jupiter's Legacy so far and to fill a gap in my ever growing Quitely collection (trying to get an example from every work he has published).
