I just love this series. And in case you have never seen it, Wiley Miller really invented the flexible format strip, where a newspaper could crop the cartoon in one of two ways, depending on the desired aspect ratio. I've chopped these out and added them in the additional images.

As for the topic... well, I think it goes without saying.
