Description

Original art page to (I believe) Virgo, which was a comic published in the Phillipines, and apparently featuring art by Virgilio P. Redondo (since his name is written on the backside of the page). Unfortunately, I do not have alot of additional information on the page, other than that it is stunning in appearance, with 3 great panels apparently featuring characters in the jungle (including a character in the 2nd panel that looks like a female Tarzan). The lettering is drawn directly on the page, and is likely Filipino/Tagalog. The page measures approximately 10 1/2" by 13". Based on the look of the artwork, as well as the vintage look of the paper, I think that the page may date from the 1960's or 1970's, but again, cannot say for certain. If anyone does have confirmation on the issue or date, or any other identifying information, I'd certainly appreciate if you'd take a moment to let me know.
