Harbinger #15 cover by Howard Simpson and Bob Layton. Harada looks so badass. I love original Valiant! I always wanted to own every page and the cover to a single issue and I have this complete issue-full 21-Page story to Harbinger #15. I remember when this came out and that makes me feel old. The story begins with Ax needing to rebuild his arm - after he lost it in fight with Bloodshot. Valiant had such great intertwined continuity in their titles. This was an important issue as it introduced Livewire and Stronghold who would later become the featured characters in Secret Weapons series. Livewire is also a major character in the new Valiant (VEI). I also love how Valiant used to do everything manually the captions and word balloons were done as paste-ups on the page for placement. These have discolored and some have fallen off, but its great seeing the process.
