I almost missed this lot. I knew there was something going up I wanted to bid on, and at the last minute I got it together. Nice Samm Schwartz work, but that 62 Thunderbird Sports Roadster is a killer. Not just a particularly special vehicle for the time, but a personally fascinating car since my childhood and a similar styled 64 Hot Wheels car. More importantly (almost) about twenty five years ago or so, my uncle got his hands on a "63" thunderbird convert that apparently was a rebodied/updated 62 Sports Roadster that belonged to a Ford executive and was the lowest serial number/earliest M code Sports Roadster known. I should have stolen it.
