Molecular Master by Steven Butler

When I backed the John Aman Amazing Man Kickstarter, I pledged at the commission reward level. Steven Butler has done some fantastic commissions for me in the past, so I was excited to get another one from him. For this one I chose a somewhat obscure foe of the Legion of Super-Heroes - the Molecular Master! And Steven actually both remembered the character and owned his first appearance! Eagle-eyed Legion fans may recognize a certain comics in the corner of the b&w image. Molecular Master aka Molecule Master aka Matter Master was a creation of the Time Trapper who tried to infiltrate the team once to steal the Miracle Machine. He was stopped by Wildfire, but returned years later to serve the Time Trapper again against the Legionnaires. Molecular Master was extremely powerful, but like many villains, far too overconfident. Steven did an awesome job here showcasing Molecular Master's powers, and I love the energy effects and colors. Everyone needs a Steven Butler commission in their life, so go get one if you don't already have one!
