Captain America #15 pg 17 by Andy Kubert (ft Red Skull)

Cubs in the World Series for the first time since the '40's but down 1-2 - hoping they come back strong tonight. We'll see. The Cubby red, white, and blue prompted me to a piece featuring Marvel's Mr. red, white, and blue, up against some tough odds vs a powered up version of his archenemy! I picked this up directly from Andy at Phoenix Comicon 2014.

I never read Cap month to month until Waid on Heroes Return. Enjoyed the stories and Garney's art but really got into the book with issue 7 when Kubert started. He's just a great cartoonist and I think brought some of his best stuff to Cap.

The Red Skull featured here. I thoroughly enjoyed this arc as I thought their rendition of the Skull was spot on, showcasing that he's basically the most evil dude in the MU. Love the image of a powered up Skull smirking in the middle panel then the storytelling - the eyes to show he's screwing with them then Sharon and Cap with Skull heads!
