Description
This is page 5 from the first issue of Marvel Fanfare. This story was penciled, inked, and colored brilliantly by Michael Golden. I have very vivid memories of reading this book. It was very special to me. I was 14 years old in 1982 when I took it off the stands. It looked and felt different from anything I had read before. It felt more like an event then just a read. The paper was high quality that you just didn't see much in those days. The color popped off the pages. A project of passion from it's helmsman Al Milgrom and written by comic book giant Chris Claremont. I'm very happy to add this to my collection.

Superb selection from an era gone by. I remember discovering this in '82 at the book trader in Rocky Mount when I was 12. The way the guy rendered women just blew me away. It was a technique like I had never seen in the world of comics and this period still continues to blow me away. Golden was not a one hit wonder.
