King Conan: Wolves Beyond The Border #4 Painted Cover by Tomás Giorello

King Conan: Wolves Beyond the Border is a 2015 Dark Horse mini-series written by Tim Truman that is a look at a mature Conan in his later years. Tomas Giorello, a sensation of the fantasy art world who hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina, drew both the interiors and the covers. This is the painted cover to #4 from the series.

With over 80 years in the popular spotlight, Conan clearly stands as one of the preeminent American adventure heroes and one of the most recognizable to the general public. In addition to being a fixture within the comic book medium, it seems Conan is also destined to be continually reintroduced in feature film. From the classic movies of the 1980s starring Arnold Schwarzeneggar, to his more recent incarnation in the 2011 Conan the Barbarian movie, the franchise is firmly entrenched in Hollywood. Dark Horse, who picked up the license for Conan early this century, has done a great job keeping the character front and center in the comic book world.
