One of my favorite childhood stories, congrats!
This is page 1 in the first Hulk book I read - I was 9 years old, I still have the book. Thus it's a grail page, and they don't get much bigger than this ;-) Congrats!
I guess this is the sort of covers you'd turn off Grandma's respirator to get ;-) Congrats!
Simply a truly amazing and very dynamic cover - love the wild action and the perspective. The cover oozes of the classic Spidey atmosphere like only John Romita can make it. Congrats!
Awesome ASM Doc Ock cover, congrats! - I guess this will qualify as a bondage cover too ;-)
That's not Judge Dredd, it's Judge Shaffer! Well, 10 years from now, in another time and place ;-)
That's a truly great cover, congrats. Personally I prefer dynamic covers compared to pieces, where everyone looks like posing for a photo shoot. I don't remember seeing a more dynamic cover than this one!
Simply awesome, congrats! BTW, the cover sold in Nov 2015 and had several glue stains, has the cover been cleaned recently?
It's a wonderful page, I'm a great fan of the old art style. Congrats!
An astonishing piece with a wild perspective and tons of detail - congrats!
I'm a big fan of Vallejo and that's an awesome piece! Congrats!
It's simply an awesome painted cover - love the colors and the atmosphere, congrats!
Incredible detail and a truly dynamic cover showing three of my favorite super heroes - this must be close to being a perfect cover!
Deodato is amazing - he's my reference when it comes to drawing the Hulk properly, no one does it better! Congrats!
Epic cover! - Sonja and Conan are drawn just like I want to remember them!
Awesome cover, extremely dynamic, gritty and with tons of detail!
Thanks to Brian Peck for voting on this Garfield strip in the Lowry Best of 2016 competition!

It's a great book and an awesome piece - congrats!
Thanks - it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who finds this cover simply hilarious :-)
Simply awesome, congrats! FedEx arrives with my first Keron Grant cover next week, can't wait! :-)
Grant really shines here - it's an amazing piece. It's one of those pieces that cannot be explained in words, but simply has to be experienced visually.
I was considering bidding on this awesome cover - but in the end I didn't. Still, like the girl who got away, I have been thinking about this cover many times since then. Seeing the cover in your collection just now makes me happy I didn't try to bid, because I don't think I would have won it - and now I'll sleep much better tonight! ;-)
I was considering bidding on this awesome cover too, good to see it found the perfect home - congrats!
I think Stanley Kirk Burrell, also known as M.C. Hammer, wrote a song about this piece. Well, it's pretty clear when you read the lyrics:
"Can't touch this
Look man u can't touch this
You'll probably get hyped boy 'cause you know you can't u can't touch this"
This page is better than many covers - it's indeed an awesome pick up!
It's a very powerful piece - love the art (also the light and shadow effects) and the details, congrats!
It's a fantastic cover; I especially like the perspective, like you're in the dark and musty grave. Then there's the foreboding atmosphere. The men look tired, like they're exhausted from work they don't want to do, but need to do. And there's more than one coffin on the waggon. Thus when watching the cover, it feels like you're standing in a grave surrounded by death and limited resources to fight it - it's truly the "Haunt of Fear"!
Thanks Michael, I'll do my best to provide a nice home for the piece, framed behind museum glass if I can find some wall Space! :-)
Love the action and the art, it's a keeper, congrats!
It's a great piece, congrats, I can see it has gone through a lot of restoration since the original sold on HA in 2014 - before and after photos can be seen here: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1275475 http://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/covers/george-tuska-crime-does-not-pay-131-cover-original-art-lev-gleason-1954-/a/7099-92395.s Very impressive!
I was considering bidding on this magnificent piece, good to see it found a great home! Congrats!
You can nearly see Vader's anger steaming off the magnificent cover. It captures him perfectly, Excelsior! ;-)
It's definitely a true masterpiece - never really seen anything like it - it's simply out-of-this-world amazing, congrats!
When I first saw a glimpse of Joe's collection it wasn't his art, but his Dredd CGC books - and for what it's worth we're still in the top 5 ;-)

Seeing this great cover, my thoughts go back to all the fantastic Dredd stories - some of my favorite comic book stories of all time!
Thanks, Joe - at least it's the funniest cover I own :-)
I was considering bidding on the inked piece, but did not - great to see it found the perfect home together with its brother :-) And congrats, these are magnificent pieces!
I agree - my friends say I have a sick sense of humor and this cover had me nearly laughing out loud when I first saw it. BTW, another collector wrote that this cover was related to the movie "Planet of the Apes" (1968) - guess he might be right ("Vampire of the Apes" vs "Planet of the Apes"). So it may be fun on even more levels ;-)
Simply amazing - the light, atmosphere and attention to detail in this piece make this piece truly second to none.
Great Romita Jr. cover - you can almost feel the energy steaming off this cover!
