Description

This was a horror commission I got from Brooke based on a favorite flick of mine, Fever Lake. It's a 90s Corey Haim movie about a bunch of college kids who spend the weekend at a lakeside cabin that's haunted by an evil spirit. Said spirit possesses one character and she gradually transforms into a shriveled old woman and than a water-logged, rotted corpse leaking blood and various fluids as she torments Corey Haim.

The movie's an absolute mess though, and I wrote a review about how it's less of a movie and more someone trying to shove together a bunch of horror movie tropes together in an attempt to make a movie. Highlights include the generic sitcom-esque soundtrack that makes it sound like this was an ABC TV show doing a horror episode, the unnamed extras who run out of a room screaming their heads off when they see a tarantula, the completely obligatory "magic Native American" who of course knows about the evil spirit yet does nothing to really help, the writer character who thinks "Terror Weekend at Fever Lake" is gold, and Corey Haim's complete psychotic breakdown at the end.
