Description
Here is the Wrightson Swamp Thing page of my dreams and I couldn't be happier! This origin recap from issue #2 retells Swamp Thing's dramatic creation for the very first time. A prime Wrightson masterpiece with classic, detailed images central to Swamp Thing lore: a fateful confrontation, the lab explosion, his transformation in the swamp, the tragic death of his wife Linda, and the monster's sweet revenge...
--
Wrightson filled the panels with iconic Swamp Thing images...a grail page for me!

To acquire a Wrightson Swamp Thing page is already putting a gem into your collection. But when that page features either the origin or the origin retold, all across the entire page, some would say you don't have a gem, but rather all the Queen's jewels!

What a wonderful page! You can feel Bernie's mastery of the story oozing off the page with the heavy pungency of the swamp.  A cornerstone page for sure!
