DescriptionWhat can one say - from the very first issue of the Amazing Spider-Man that John Romita Sr ever drew (after trying out in Daredevil, and after what was an amazing run by the great Steve Ditko). This issue did not disappoint. I still remember the stunning cover - Spider-Man unmasked, and being dragged along in the air by none other than the Green Goblin. Inked by the late Mike Esposito.Social/Sharing |

Aunt May is either very stupid, very deaf or just pretending not to notice. Another magical WTF page from Marvel. Think about it. A full blown battle going on . Where are the neighbours????? Where are the bystanders????Where are the police????? Aside from all that its a lovely page.

Thanks so much, Ian! I was so happy to be able to get a page from this historical book which I remember well from my childhood as well.

No words. I remember when Vince Olivia had three pages from this issue and I just wished I had a way to get one. Romita, Peter, Goblin, Aunt May. Classic A+

Many thanks, Michael! I was really fortunate to obtain this piece. It was so difficult then and would definitely be impossible now. That having been said, you have such wonderful artwork in your collection yourself.
