Description

This is from Master Artist George Perez's run on the Avengers with Kurt Busiek.
The Grim Reaper host a meeting of The Maggia only to have it broken up by The Avengers.
What can you say about George Perez that hasn't already been said? The layout of this page is beautiful and unique. The placement of the Reapers head at either end of the Maggia line up just enforces the idea that he is in charge.

And the details are stunning. Every face has a unique shape and structure. Every hair is accounted for on theis a piece. It has an amazing layout and typical Perez detail and characterization. Scarlet Witch's head. Even the building in the background is fully illustrated.

Originals like this are why I want to collect art. In the printed piece the colors and glossy paper bury the beauty of the work.

At this time it's the only piece by George I own and I absolutely love it.
I'm hoping to add more.
