October 1960.
Last issue, Task Force X had been successful in helping overthrow the Communist dictator of a small Caribbean nation.

Task Force X are now in the process of being extracted from a secret KGB base in the Caribbean by way of their miniature submarine…only to be unexpectedly confronted by a much larger and more powerful Soviet attack sub!

Will Task Force X escape this Soviet attack sub? Or will those strange tentacles approaching the subs from the deep change the odds...

Amazing cross-hatching work by Gary. This piece was based on a splash page by the legendary master of underwater art: Russ Heath!
