Dateline: Antarctica, June 1959

A USN expeditionary team was lost when exploring a the waterways of the Antarctic frontiers. Their last know transmission mentioned something about a vast
opening in the side of a mountain and strange creatures. Then...nothing.

Task Force X has been assigned to determine what has become of the Navy explorers.

The Squad find a world deep underground that has slipped back into a bygone time.

Fantastic re-imagination of one of my favorite John Buscema AVENGERS covers. Awesome work by Loston!

I recognized the cover straight away but the artist is unfamiliar to me. Beautiful work though.....
