When Duncan Fegredo took over the art duties on Hellboy, I was really excited. I love Mike Mignola's art, but the rate of his output was a hindrance to my hunger for new Hellboy stories. Duncan found a style that successfully blended into the Hellboy universe, while at the same time showing us things we'd never seen inside the dark shadows therein. I love this epic battle page so much. Thanks, Simon!

BOOM! Stunning Fegredo Hellboy page, Doc! How does one follow Mike Mignola on Hellboy? Like THIS: with a striking, beautiful, unique (but "compatible") style that can capture both the weight and quiet of the coiled spring pre-action scenes, and the explosive, ball-busting signature action sequences. Fegredo was an inspired and perfect choice, and this gorgeous page is all the proof you need. Congrats, pal!
