Doctor Strange Magician/Sorcerer Tarot Card; Frank Brunner 2015 Commission

When I saw the Mr Brunner was going to attend the Con, I reached out to him about a commission. When I was growing up, Franks version of Strange was the one on the shelves and is the imagery that comes to mind when I think of the character. I shared my idea of having Strange done in a tarot card style and Frank said he liked that idea and went with it. He incorporated all the symbols that make this a worthy image for a tarot deck. The four symbols of the suits, The Caduceus of Mercury and using 22 feathers (tarot cards run 0-21), the three stars for the Triple Goddess and having him with one hand towards the Devine/dream world and the other towards the earth/grounding. Amazing pice that I am finally getting framed for my wall.
