Description
This was my last sketch for the Comic Book Marketplace.

I'm more familiar with Orphan-Maker in "Generation X" than any other Marvel book. He was a young mutant named Peter whose task was to find young mutants with human parents and "orphan" them in some twisted way of saving the kids from growing up with abusive parents who wouldn't understand their mutations. Peter only listened to a woman named "Nanny," a scientist who worked for a villainous organization and later tried to protest what they were doing with mutants. Nanny was tortured into insanity by being forced into a tiny, egg-shaped body suit, before she took in Peter and turned him into Orphan-Maker.

Despite being a killer, Peter was still very much a child and looked forward to Christmas so he could get presents from Santa Claus. In the "Generation X" Christmas Special, he got to meet Santa in person. Santa tried to convince Peter to stop what he was doing for Nanny, telling him he had a chance to make things right and stop being a bad kid. Peter almost listened to Santa, but Nanny's cries for help over his suit's radio drowned out Santa's pleas for reason.

I feel like Guy gave this an almost H.R. Geiger feel with the amount of detail he put in the wires. It's gorgeous.
