Description

For my 40th Birthday, I decided to add a major commission to my growing epic battle collection. I'm an X-men guy at heart, growing up with Byrne/Claremont run. I couldn't think of a better artist then Mr. Ken Lashley to provide me with this battle. His recent work on the x-titles has been amazing. When I saw that Ken was coming to a con by my home, I reached out to him to make it happen. I am amazed at what this talent did for me. After meeting him I am so proud to add this to my collection. He is a guy that as a 9 year old had a dream to draw comics and still considers it a blessing to work in this field. I was humbled by the kindness and generosity this gentleman showed to all his fans. A true class act. All artists could learn a thing or 2 from his guy. I never had such a wonderful experience at a comic con then watching this guy doing his thing. Ledkilla is the man....Thanks Ken for the wonderful birthday present and to Ari Shapiro for suggesting I reach out to him.

Thanks for the mention! And thanks for commissioning this ABSOLUTE gem of a piece. It really plays to Ken's strengths and he's delivered a piece for the ages. This could easily be (and I wish it was) a cover!!!! The happiest of Birthday's to you!!!
