DescriptionIn Card #9, we'll quote another famous villain, "Where does he get those wonderful toys?" Well this one he got from Luthor!I always wondered what it might be like if two of my favorite characters met... Dick Tracy and Superman! In 1976 when I was 11 years old, DC had the rights to publish the Treasury sized Limited Collectors Edition featuring Chester Gould's famed Detective, but there were no further publications let alone a team-up. So I decided to commission it for myself all these years later. I conceived and plotted it and gave it to the WONDERFUL Evan Driscoll to illustrate. I wanted a 1930's look and feel to it, and having seen Evan's incredible work with his Studio Hades / Acheron Mint card sets... I felt I had the right guy. AND BOY DID I! I hope you agree and I hope you enjoy all twelve cards presented here in my gallery. I'll post the original art as well as the front and back of each printed card. Social/Sharing |
