DescriptionI have to admit I'm a sucker for a good jam comic. I know, I know...it's jarring to see that abrupt switching of artistic styles but there's just something unspeakably "fun" about having a bunch of your favorite artists showcased in one story. In case you missed it, Aliens: Havoc (1997) was written by Mark Schultz and featured a stellar line-up of artistic talent too numerous to list here. But cast your gaze a couple inches northward on your screen and you'll see what I consider to be the best of the bunch. I'm biased of course. Not only was I lucky enough to win this page in an on-line benefit auction but I've just always been a huge fan of Nowlan's dramatic lighting, the likes of which we haven't seen since that of Wallace Wood...Social/Sharing |
