DescriptionDisney "Sticker Books" Original Artwork Group of 4 (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). Great series of different Disney stars in their "natural habitats" are featured in this group of illustrations for The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Jungle Book, and 101 Dalmatians. Ariel, Sebastian, and Flounder play in her secret grotto among all her baubles, Belle is given a dinner show by the enchanted objects in the castle dining room, Baloo and Mowgli float languidly down the river, and in the last, Pongo, Perdita, and Nanny take the puppies -- all 99 of them -- on an outing to the park! These drawings would have been intended as art for Disney sticker books; groups of different objects are enclosed within boxes that denote which ones would become stickers, and then the reader could swap the scenery at will. Each of the four consists of a background drawing and original art overlays of the sticker art. The drawings measure 21" x 11.5". Minor handling and edge wear. Fine condition.Social/Sharing |
