New Fantastic Four Commission
by Matthew Allison (2015)

Matt has quickly become one of my favorite artists in the past few years. After meeting him at Heroes Con a few years ago I knew I had to request a commission of the New Fantastic Four battling demons. I always loved this short lived team-up that first appeared in Marvel Comics' Fantastic Four #347 and loved Matthew's take on the team.

This piece is huge on two 11 by 17 inch pieces. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do and many thanks to Matthew for making this one happen. More on Matthew Allison at cankorcomic.com

And by Shannon, I mean George, haha. I was just admiring a piece in Shannon Slayton's gallery prior to seeing this and I know Shannon's a big fan of Matt's work as well so my mind defaulted to that I guess. Honestly, everytime I see something new from Matt, I'm just blown away. I truly wish he wrote and illustrated more comics. Cankor is awesome and Hilarious and pieces like this one really show how dynamic and unique his work is. I think he is EASILY the most underrated artist working in comics today.

No worries. Shannon definitely has some great pieces from Matthew. I completely agree Matt is underrated and excited to see him doing more and more work. It was exciting to see my Space Riders piece published and was glad he was open to taking on this one.
