Description
In 1973 Marvel tested the waters with Tharn as a Tarzan prototype before buying the rights to the Tarzan title from under DC's noses. It wouldn't be till 1977 that Marvel's Tarzan series started being held back by DC's Tarzan Family title, personally I think this cover screams of Ka-zar even with a frisky Zabu peaking in from the side.
