Williamson, Al - Secret Agent Corrigan - 1976-5-20

When I first met Al Williamson at a Chicago ComiCon, we had previously corresponded and I had done a telephone interview with him and been a lifelong fan of hs work. I gave Al a gift of an old LIFE magazine cover featuring one of his favourite movie stars -- Stewart Granger. In thanks for that, some articles I had written about him and that above-mentioned interview I had conducted with him, Al gave me this Corrigan daily and chose to inscribe it before he handed it to me: "To Ray Cuthbert with many thanks for all you've done for me -- Al Williamson." It's a day I'll never forget.
