Description

After losing his magic vest, Hero Cruz acquired the "H-dial" in Superboy and the Ravers, allowing him to transform into any number of different heroes. Seeing the dial reappear in comics was a real rush for me. Years earlier, DC asked Superboy readers to submit superhero designs for Chris King and Vicki Grant, teens with their own H-dials. A friend of mine actually got his hero published!

A few years ago, I asked the wonderful Adam DeKraker to draw Hero Cruz and to create his own H-dial hero. Given Adam's great work on multiple DC books (Superboy, Supergirl and the Legion of Superheroes, Titans,etc.) it's no surprise that he hit this out of the park.
