Description

Ross Andru and Mike Esposito working their magic on this page. I particularly love the super speed vibration of Barry (Flash) Allen and Wally (Kid Flash) West within the containment suits (4th panel) and the confined point of view of Flash (5th panel). Andru does his best to make a silly lizard creation seem possible but it still has that "cartoony" feeling about it. Which is far from unusual for the time period this page was created (1969).

I had to give up a couple of sweet pages in a trade to get the pair (pg 18 and 19), but I know my previous pages went to a better home who will treasure them more than me. Shout out to Ryan Wilson for knowing how to make a deal happen.
