Description

This was prompted by an answer to a Lowry List question. Tom (whose last name I do not know) was answering the question, what is your favorite panel? His answer was, Cap 112, page 7.
So I grabbed a copy of Cap Essentials, volume 2 and checked it out. My reaction was, oh my I had forgotten just how good tht issue was. So I e-mailed Tom, who had Mr. Tuska create a double page spread for him. He put me in touch with Mike Gartland who is Mr. Tuska's representative.
Then I met the Tuskas at Mega-Con and after being assured George had no problem recreating his inks, went ahead and wrote a check for him.
Several weeks later this beauty showed up on my doorstep, begging to be framed.
My thanks to Tom, Mike and Mr. and Mrs. Tuska for making this happen.

I've always loved Tuska's work...but have never had a chance to ink it! I would have really had fun with this one, being a "Captain America" piece! Great job by Mr. Tuska and congrats! :)

I thought I had left a "comment" years ago for this this piece (guess I didn't). This is an awesome recreation by Mr. Tuska! He was talented, a class act and a true professional!
