DescriptionBATMAN TO THE RESCUE YET AGAIN! Another impressive two page spread, this time from Detective Comics #495 (DC, 1980), graced by the talents of the late, great Don Newton himself (pencils), and Frank Chairamonte (inks). From the tale, “Murder in Quicksilver,” this tense scene features our hero, The Batman informing his adversary, known as the Crime Doctor, that his “patients” have betrayed him and left him a little present – a ticking time bomb – as token of their gratitude for his services. And now, Batman must take matters into his own hands and get them both to safety just as the entire laboratory explodes into an inferno, thwarting the assassination attempt.COOL STUFF!
