DALLAS POLICE DEPARTMENT MEMORIAL TRIBUTE PAINTING

A member of the Dallas PD, who is a fan and aware that I'm ex-NYPD, contacted me about the possibility of my drawing a sketch of a Superman type character saluting the five Dallas police officers killed in action during a sniper attack in the city last year.
I felt that a sketch was pretty insignificant and that I could create a more compelling image, given the time. It took a bit longer than anticipated, as work and family took precedence, but I will finally be delivering the piece while in town for the Dallas Comic Show this weekend.
The original will hang in Dallas Police Headquarters.
