Batman / Judge Dredd: The Ultimate Riddle

Incredible painted page by Dermot Power

The art in this book by both Carl Critchlow and Dermot Power was top notch and this page by Dermot is one of the best in the book.

That third panel says it all. Can't beat it. This image was used on the title page of the book as well as for promotional art. Classic face-off between the two title characters as they part ways on the final page of the story.

Yeah, I am a huge fan of Power as well. Love his work on Judge Dredd and 200 AD, but I'm particularly pleased to have one of his few pages ever featuring Batman. Too bad he didn't do more work in comics before moving on.

Geoff, unfortunately you are quite right... I don't see Dermot's work enough... wish there was more of it out there in the comics medium. However, that is what makes this piece even all that more special
